Enrolment Process

Requirements and Eligibility

 

Applicants must have either a minimum GCE ‘A’ Level Certificate, or equivalent educational qualification, or have a minimum 3 years of working experience. Alternatively, applicants must be 18 years old and above for those who do not meet the aforesaid criteria.

 

 

How To Apply

We will require the following documents to enrol you into our CFP® programme and to facilitate any course fee subsidy application on your behalf:

 

  1. Completed Enrolment Form (Download here).
  2. Copy of your NRIC (front and back), passport or any form of legal identification on you.
  3. A copy of your highest academic certificate.
  4. Payment of the required fees.

CFP® Study Options with KapitalMinds

 

Course fee per module Classroom Self Study
$800 $600

KapitalMinds provides classroom and self-study options. The classroom study option is priced at $800 per module and is available for course fee funding. The number of classes will range from 8 to 10 lessons depending on the module. Each class lecture is approximately 3 hours long. You can download our full class schedules here. Self-study option is more suitable for the self-initiated who tends to have prior finance knowledge. However, funding is not available for self-study option.

 

 

CFP® Course Materials & Study Guides

 

Upon successful enrolment, candidates for both classroom and self-study option will receive KapitalMinds’ supplement notes together with access to our online Practice and Mock Exam Questions Bank. Optionally, you may purchase the official FPAS course guide materials at $120 (not eligible for funding).

 

A financial calculator is required for the entire CFP® programme and exams for all the modules. The candidate is therefore encouraged to invest in a financial calculator, which will also be useful for his financial practice. The following are models and make of financial calculators commonly accepted by FPAS and many professional certification bodies:

Cancellation and Refunds

 

Students who wish to cancel a course must submit a request before the class commences and provide reason(s) for the cancellation. A cancellation fee of $150 shall be imposed and approval for refund is subject to a case by case basis.  There is no refund for textbooks or course guide purchased.
